Wolfenstein confirmed for summer 2009 release |

The sequel to 2001's Return to Castle Wolfenstein will be released sometime this summer
It's been a while since we heard anything from Raven Software's new game, but Activision revealed in its quarterly earnings call that Wolfenstein will arrive this summer.
A few details were released at last year's QuakeCon event, but since then news has been a bit scarce. No doubt this will all change over the next few months now that we know the game is being released this year.
Just to recap, Wolfenstein once again sees you playing as American special agent B.J. Blazkowicz, who must prevent the Nazis from tapping into an unlimited energy force that could give them the upper hand in World War II.
Given that QuakeCon will be held 13 - 16 August this year, we're guessing the game will probably be released after this date. When the game arrives, it will be released simultaneously for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. |
